Every loaf is hand-shaped, cold-fermented, and baked fresh with care- no shortcuts, no preservatives, just wholesome, flavorful sourdough made with love.
About Me
Hi, my name is Amber Perez, the heart and hands behind Amber Kneads Dough.
In July 2024, my life took an unexpected turn after an accident left me unable to continue my role as an assistant manager at a private care facility serving adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. During that uncertain season, my husband, truly the glue behind Amber Kneads Dough. Encouraged me to try making sourdough bread after store bought bread began affecting his health.With extra time and a gifted jar of sourdough starter from my sister-in-law, I began learning one day at a time. On February 18, 2025, I baked my very first sourdough loaf. It wasn’t perfect, but it was made with love and my husband couldn’t get enough. As I continued baking and experimenting, I tried the viral croissant sourdough loaf, adding my own twist. On March 15, 2025, I shared both my original and croissant sourdough loaves at a family yard sale, never expecting the response I would receive. One taste led to encouragement, opportunity, and the start of something bigger than I ever imagined. Today, Amber Kneads Dough is blessed with an incredible community and offers weekly pop-ups and pre-orders. I love creating handcrafted sourdough, experimenting with inclusion loaves, and sharing bread made with care and love.

How Ordering Works
Pick-Up Day, Order Deadline & Walk-Ups

To give you fresher bread and to keep pop-ups fun and less chaotic, I’m moving to a NEW ORDERING SYSTEM π
Here’s how it will work:
π PREORDER PICKUPS
Every 1st & 3rd THURSDAY of each month.
Full menu will be released on Hotplate every 2nd & 4th SUNDAY of each month and closing every 1st and 3rd MONDAY. Giving you more time to place your order.
πPOP-UP NIGHT
Every 2nd & 4th THURSDAY of the month.
NO Preorders
Limited Menu
First come, first served until sold out
Preorders = Guaranteed Items
Pop-ups = Fresh baked extras & fun items
This lets me focus on quality, bake fresher loaves, and actually bring more to the pop-ups instead of stretching myself too thin.
So if you miss a preorder don’t worry, you’ll still have a chance at the pop-up!
